Overview


Tanaq Support Services (TSS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. TSS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.


About the Role


We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support ensuring smooth office operations and supporting the project team’s administrative needs. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting project teams and helping manage operational needs for the program.


This is a fully remote position that can be based in Atlanta, GA or anywhere in the U.S. This position is contingent upon contract award. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain schedules, calendars, and appointments.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and databases.
  • Handle office communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • Assist in project coordination and follow-up on action items.
  • Assist with capturing and delivering minutes from kickoff meetings and Program Management Meetings.
  • Support the Program Manager in preparing and distributing Monthly Status Reports and other project documentation per the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements


Required Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in a US Government environment/agency is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Unanet ERP for tracking project hours and spending.
  • Experience in capturing and managing meeting minutes in the context of project and program management.
  • Familiarity with office management software and tools.

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May need to lift 25 pounds regularly
