Your missions

Your mission

Are you a talented and imaginative Character and Motion Designer with a passion for creating engaging content? Join our team forÂ 10-15 hours/weekÂ and help us bring our app for children and young adults to life with vibrant characters and dynamic animations.

Your tasks:

Design and animate characters that resonate with a young audience, aligning with the appâs theme and values.
Create motion graphics and animations that enhance user experience and engagement within the app
Collaborate closely with our product and development teams to ensure animations are seamlessly integrated
Support the creative team by brainstorming and contributing innovative ideas for character development and motion design
Ensure all designs are optimized for performance across different devices and platforms

Your profile

Proven experience in Character and Motion Design, with a portfolio showcasing your creative and technical skills. - Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Spine, or similar
Strong understanding of animation principles and character design tailored for a younger audience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating content that educates, entertains, and engages young audiences

About us

krisenchat is a nationwide, free support service for children and young adults in need. We offer children and young people professional psychosocial counselling - every day, 24 hours a day, via WhatsApp or text message. krisenchat has been available 24/7 since the beginning of May 2020 - since then, the many crisis counselors have been able to help in over 120.000 crisis situations. Since 1 March 2022, krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age - with over 23.000 consultations provided. In addition to crisis counseling, krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.Â

We are an interdisciplinary and agile non-profit organization and work flexibly from our beautiful office in Berlin or from home.
