Our Digital Center of Excellence team is seeking a Web/eCommerce Product Manager to lead a special project that will facilitate the ongoing success of the corporate website. The Product Manager will serve as a key leader in helping to develop digital experiences that are purpose-driven and innovative, serving customers at key points in their journey online.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: List 4-6 of the main responsibilities of the role in order of importance.
• Working with the Sr. Product manager, Development teams and key business stakeholders to define and execute the vision for the web/eCommerce experience
• Supporting a product roadmap and managing a backlog in execution of this vision
• Collaborating with partners across McGraw Hill along with external vendors to understand business needs and opportunities and translate them into features and enhancements
• Partnering with engineering and systems owners to effectively execute against product roadmap and vision
• Building a web/ecomm program that uses data and measurement to ensure accountability to outcomes, impact, and ROI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Identify minimum education, experience, and/or skills/requirements necessary to perform the job.
• You have a Bachelor's degree
• 5-8 years of experience in a product owner or product development role
• Knowledge of scrum and agile
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles and design quality standards
• Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and work with a variety of stakeholders and teams, including business and engineering teams
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and switching priorities and focus areas as needed
• Creative and customer-focused
• Familiarity with web and ecomm standards and best practices, including privacy compliance and accessibility principles, practices, and testing
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
