Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for mortgage lending? We're looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic remote team. If you have a proven track record in matching borrowers with the right lenders and at least 3 years of experience in mortgage lending or origination, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound Leads: Manage and convert live inbound leads to grow your client base effectively.
  • Rate Shopping and Negotiation: Find and negotiate competitive mortgage rates with various lenders to secure the best options for your clients.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with real estate professionals and establish connections with mortgage lenders and bankers.
  • Stay Updated: Keep current with lending rate sheets and stay informed about the latest trends in the mortgage industry.
  • Submit Applications: Ensure all application files are accurate and complete when submitting them to lenders on behalf of homeowners.
  • Coordinate Processes: Work with mortgage professionals, including processors, account executives, and realtors.
  • Educate Clients: Guide clients through various loan products, funding sources, the buying or refinancing process, and lending guidelines, empowering them to make informed decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: At least 5 years of mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience.
  • Licensure: A current NMLS license or certification from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers is required.
  • Skills: Superior time management, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and be resourceful.
  • Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the loan process from origination to closing, and various loan products.
