Responsibilities

Database Management: Oversee and manage Redshift clusters and handle user administration requests.
Support & Development: Assist the development team with telemetry tasks and support their needs.
Automation: Utilize Python and Jenkins for automation tasks to streamline processes.
Stand-Ups: Participate in stand-up meetings to discuss tickets and project progress.
Environment Handling: Work with columnar databases like Vertica and be open to working in varied environments.

Requirements

Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in database administration.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Redshift, S3, EC2, and Redshift security.
Programming: Knowledge of Python for automation tasks.
Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, a proactive attitude, and a drive to expand your skill set. Enthusiasm and the ability to bring fresh perspectives are highly valued!

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Snowflake or other columnar databases is a plus.
