Key Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines, specifically for laser cutting and plasma cutting processes.
  • Create DXF files from 3D models to guide CNC machining.
  • Provide corrections to cut files as needed, supporting shop operations.
  • Actively engage with team members to learn and improve detailing skills.
  • Collaborate with the 3D modeling team to ensure accurate CNC processes.
  • Take the initiative to assist colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Organize and maintain relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Research product information to guarantee precise and complete drawings.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation in Excel and Word.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with CNC programming, particularly for lasers and plasma cutters.
  • Ability to generate DXF files from 3D models.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the detailing process.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple project deadlines and self-direct work priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Familiarity with standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in CNC programming or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of detailing principles.
  • Proficiency in beam plasma or tube laser programming is a plus.
  • CMS programming experience is highly valued.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is primarily office-based, but occasional visits to job sites or the factory floor may be required. You'll work closely with your team, sitting or standing at a computer and attending meetings. While in the factory, you may encounter noise, dust, and other shop elements.
