Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact for contractual matters and resolve any arising issues.
  • Ensure stable operation and optimal performance of the client’s enterprise networks and programs, overseeing all aspects to meet customer performance metrics.
  • Provide leadership in project and activity planning, coordination, and daily direction to achieve program objectives and milestones.
  • Manage multiple IT teams, including network, system administration, system security, and Help Desk, with team sizes ranging from 5 to 15 members.
  • Evaluate current business practices to identify areas for improvement and create project management templates for data gathering and research.
  • Oversee all contract employees, ensuring effective management and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client’s program manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Assess groups within the branch and implement continuous feedback loops for ongoing organizational improvement.
  • Recommend strategies for risk mitigation and develop staffing plans, including recruiting and interviewing new personnel.
  • Be available after hours to assist with escalated production issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in computer science or related IT discipline.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Ten years of experience in technical security, information technology, and managerial roles.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, technical security systems (such as CCTV, alarms, and access control), and Diplomatic Security standards is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Top Secret clearance preferred; minimum interim DoD Secret clearance required, with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.

Salary And Benefits

  • Salary Range: \(135K to \)145K.
