Your missions

Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the management of up to three houses, each supported by a program manager, coordinator, and a team of two to four individuals. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the organization's future through active participation in weekly leadership meetings, tracking progress, and guiding our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mission, Vision, and Values: Embrace and advocate for our mission, vision, and values, making decisions aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Program Supervision: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling and staffing; mentor, train, and coach Program Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals; ensure high standards of quality, performance, and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Licensing: Prepare for and participate in annual licensing and relicensing meetings to ensure compliance.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain positive relationships with the individuals we serve and all stakeholders.
  • Human Resources Support: Collaborate with human resources on investigations as needed.
  • Program Visitation: Spend approximately 60% of your time visiting and supervising programs on-site, with the remaining time in the office.
  • Meetings: Facilitate regular meetings with Program Supervisors and attend monthly supervisor meetings.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role; strong understanding of relevant licensing requirements; background in person-centered planning and support, strategic planning, crisis management, and financial management.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical abilities for assessing program performance; high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; knowledge of ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, sit, reach, grip, and use motor skills regularly; occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds periodically.
  • Environmental Factors: Interaction with the public and functioning in an office environment.
  • Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: Proficiency in written English; excellent communication skills; valid driver's license with a satisfactory record; vehicle insurance; knowledge of person-centered planning; computer proficiency; independent work capability; strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $60,000
