Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and represent the company in UCC and lien collections, negotiating favorable outcomes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in both public and private sectors.
• Collaborate with business partners to develop and refine agreements, policies, and processes critical to company success.
• Advise on risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal analysis and offer practical recommendations on compliance and risk management.
• Assist with various legal matters including corporate governance, joint ventures, employment issues, and litigation support.
  
  

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law.
• Experience or strong interest in UCC law and commercial debt recovery.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with commercial collection law is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
