Our National Real Estate Services team is at the heart of our ambitious goal to become the third-largest grocery retailer in the U.S. We are looking for a talented Construction Project Manager to drive our success and support our exciting expansion plans.

About The Role

In this role, you’ll oversee the construction of new stores, manage remodels, and support various company initiatives, guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

What You’ll Do

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of store construction, ensuring compliance with codes, plans, and specifications. Handle site inspections, maintenance, and repair requirements, and expedite permits and approvals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with external contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to achieve project goals. Review and approve payments and change orders, and authorize field changes when necessary.
• Innovation: Identify new ideas and cost-saving opportunities to enhance construction efficiency. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve our processes and facilities.
• Communication: Liaise with consultants, vendors, and governmental entities to ensure project objectives are met. Keep up with industry best practices and communicate updates to the team.
• Leadership: Support the Director of Real Estate in developing strategies, managing budgets, and presenting project plans. Help train and develop team members to maintain a motivated and professional workforce.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management, architecture, or civil engineering.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, construction project management software, and knowledge of design and building codes.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and skill in managing complex projects. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are also required.
  
  

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Location: Dublin, OH
• Salary: Starting at \(127,500 with increases to \)135,000 in Year 2 and $142,500 in Year 3
• Work Arrangement: Eligible for a hybrid work program, allowing up to 3 days remote work per week.
