Senior SAP FICO Business Analyst

Description

This role requires an experienced SAP FICO Business Analyst to manage enhancements and implement new functionality within an established SAP ECC system. A solid background in accounting, extensive SAP FICO experience, and project management skills are essential.

What You'll Do

Project Management:

• Lead small to medium-sized projects from inception to implementation.
• Provide project planning estimates and target dates before development starts.
  
  

Requirements & Solutions

• Collaborate with business partners to define application requirements and conduct solutioning sessions.
• Work with legacy systems teams to design, build, test, and implement data exchange interfaces.
  
  

Documentation & Training

• Create design and training documentation for new functionalities and projects.
• Conduct training sessions for users on new features and functionalities.
  
  

System Configuration & Support

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, focusing on Accounts Receivable and related functions.
• Troubleshoot user issues and assist with data reporting methods.
  
  

Communication & Reporting

• Develop system prototypes for user approval and communicate project status through written reports.
• Research and implement SAP OSS notes and mentor users and teammates on FI-related processes.
  
  

Education

What You'll Bring

• A 4-year degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• At least five years of hands-on SAP R/3 Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) configuration and implementation.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO in areas such as FA, A/R, A/P, GL, CCA, PCA, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher; familiarity with Ariba Procurement is a plus.
  
  

Skills

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in designing and supporting interfaces with legacy systems.
• Ability to develop and deliver training and documentation.
  
  

Bonus Points

• Experience with MM, Purchasing, SD, or PP modules.
• Practical accounting experience.
