The Role

As a Supply Planning Manager, you will ensure efficient management of materials and finished goods. This includes overseeing planning, expediting, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels and support timely shipments to our customers. You’ll lead a team of planners while engaging with various internal departments and suppliers to contribute to strategic supply chain decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Supervise: Direct and manage production planning and purchasing for finished goods and direct materials. Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluation of your team.
  • Analyze & Plan: Develop and execute sourcing strategies, analyze demand variability, and manage inventory plans while ensuring alignment with production schedules.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations while effectively communicating planning benefits across various levels.
  • Optimize & Improve: Monitor inventory levels, support capacity planning, handle replenishment requirements, and assist in creating work orders.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Proven expertise in manufacturing MRP and distribution DRP systems, with a solid understanding of supply chain management.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Capacity to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and the effective use of data.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
