What You’ll Do

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead global procurement strategies to support expansive solar and storage projects, collaborating with manufacturing organizations, federal agencies, and internal teams.
• Team Management: Guide and inspire a diverse team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and influence procurement implications of legislative and regulatory developments, driving the business forward with strategic insights and actionable plans.
• Global Sourcing: Create and implement global sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services for our multi-gigawatt solar and storage pipeline.
• Supplier Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective OEM suppliers, maximizing value and securing essential resources.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and global market dynamics, integrating innovative solutions into procurement strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Risk Management: Identify and address physical and political risks, including supply chain disruptions and vendor risk assessments, while developing strategies to ensure uninterrupted access to critical suppliers.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Experience: Over 12 years in supply chain and procurement leadership, with a minimum of 10 years in strategic roles within the solar and/or storage sectors.
• Global Network: Proven track record in building and sustaining international relationships within the solar and storage procurement industry.
• Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and drive results, along with strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of procurement best practices, solar manufacturing capabilities, regulatory requirements, and global supply-demand dynamics.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in international business, economics, engineering, or global supply chain management is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
