Job Description

ISN is seeking Field Leaders to work on an Intelligence Agency Contract. Investigator Field Leaders are responsible for the operational oversight of independent contractor investigators as well as part-time employee investigators, often in a widely dispersed geographic area. Investigator Field Leader provides oversight of investigator performance, quality of work products, availability, and ensures that work is accomplished timely with the highest level of integrity and professionalism. The Investigator Field Leader provides primary contact point for investigators in field and operational matters.
 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide daily oversight and guidance to investigators.
  • Ensure investigators meet government and industry standards for quality, integrity, timeliness, and productivity.
  • Develop strong relationships with investigators, create environment of engagement, and build ISN as vendor/employer of choice.
  • Utilize performance data to improve processes and maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor, track and communicate regarding cases coming due and overdue.
  • Ensure all reports, inquiries, and statistical requirements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate program requirements, changes and updates to investigators.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve the program’s performance, processes and tools, and communicates that information to management.
  • Develop and implement strategies when inefficiencies are identified.
  • Identifies and resolves potential problems with cases and logistical obstacles that could potentially delay the completion of their caseload.
  • Assists with recruiting. 
  • Work remotely, independently and securely from your home office.
  • Carry out other responsibilities and tasks, as needed.

Qualifications

*Active Security Clearance is required

*Must Have Background Investigation experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
  • Minimum of four years of demonstrated experience with OPM /DCSA, Intel, or other BI programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team with progressively more responsible supervisory and managerial experience.
  • The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, must have TS clearance eligibility.
  • Possess excellent oral and written skills.
  • Possess strong work ethic, teamwork, integrity, and a passion to support national security initiatives and represent ISN management and our federal and/or intel customer with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to create reports, create graphics, analyze data, and identify trends in order to offer recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously by focusing on one task while keeping track of all others.
  • Strong ability to understand program challenges and develop solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop performance metrics for reporting processes, as well as data collection mechanisms and trigger requirements. 
  • Additional areas of expertise working on the DCSA BI or other government contracts preferred. May include but are not limited to: IC liaison, review, field training, integrity assurance, contractual compliance, or prior experience as a new investigator instructor/adjunct instructor.
