This position involves supporting the Program Office in the Environmental & Airframe Control Systems sector within Power & Controls. As a key individual contributor, you will oversee the reporting and consolidation of program office finances, engineering projects, and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses in line with GAAP and company policies.
  • Review and approve journal entries, and conduct detailed analysis of Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Generate forecasts and analyze trends across sales, operations, engineering, and other business areas for strategic planning.
  • Manage the reporting and reconciliation of estimates at completion (EACs) for engineering and development programs.
  • Monitor and communicate financial risks and opportunities within the business.
  • Provide insightful financial analytics to support leadership decisions.
  • Address ad hoc management requests for financial information and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and government accounting standards.
  • Utilize CORE tools to drive process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Learn

  • Develop expertise in financial reporting and analysis with a focus on GAAP compliance and company procedures.
  • Gain hands-on experience in reviewing journal entries and conducting thorough account reviews.
  • Understand project financials, manage variances, and ensure accurate financial projections.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A University Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills, adaptability, and self-direction.
  • Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with U.S. Government accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with systems such as HFM, OneStream, Hyperion Essbase, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Remote Work

Salary Range

\(96,000 - \)200,000, based on experience, role, and location.
