Are you a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference? Join us for the 2024⁄2025 school year as a Virtual School OT and contribute to the success of students across Illinois—all from the comfort of your home.

As a Virtual School Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ occupational therapy needs through an innovative online environment. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide personalized therapy that helps students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students’ abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services through teletherapy platforms.
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations for accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and teletherapy platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
