Your missions

Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Operations Team Lead to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will provide daily support and coaching to remote staff performing Benefit Verifications within a Micro-Hub. Your collaboration with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager will be essential in helping the team achieve productivity goals, uphold customer service standards, and maintain quality control across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guidance & Support: Offer clear daily instructions to team members on processing Benefit Investigations and provide coaching to resolve any arising issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Closely monitor seasonal employee performance, ensuring all tasks align with client service level requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee daily employee production to ensure compliance with high standards of performance and quality control.
  • Training & Development: Assist in training initiatives to prepare Reimbursement Specialists for success and meet key performance benchmarks.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate issues to the Supervisor as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the creation of training documents and propose solutions for program improvements.
  • Communication: Foster open and effective communication with staff, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Preferred: 2+ years in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician's office, healthcare setting, or similar field.
    • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Highly desirable: Experience processing benefit investigations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Highly desirable: Experience managing a remote workforce.
  • Education:
    • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to effectively apply supervisory and coaching techniques.
    • Excellent multitasking abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Capacity to resolve associate issues efficiently and escalate when necessary.
    • Demonstrated ability to motivate and support a team.
    • Strong delegation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
