Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to blood donors by phone using a dialer system to recruit for blood donations.
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to identify appropriate blood drives, update donor records, and record call outcomes.
  • Schedule appointments and provide a positive experience to maximize donor participation.
  • Follow established processes and scripts to ensure a consistent and professional donor experience.
  • Maintain daily productivity standards, including call volume and appointment scheduling, to achieve collection goals.
  • Develop a good understanding of donor criteria to inform and assist donors, reducing deferral rates.
  • Keep accurate records of donor interactions and appointments to ensure a smooth operation and high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with developing new leads and donor recruitment programs to support an adequate blood supply.
  • Respond to or redirect inbound calls as needed and perform other related duties.

Work Schedule

Full-time Position With The Following Schedule

  • Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Monday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: OFF

Compensation

$15.50 per hour, plus shift differential.

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Commitment to 90 days of uninterrupted employment (100% attendance required).
  • Availability to work the specified schedule.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year of experience in telemarketing, customer service, or a call center.
  • Experience in sales or negotiation is a plus.
  • Ability to use multiple computer applications efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal communication and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions.
  • Desire to advocate for and learn about blood donations with an interest in professional growth.
