Join our organization on a mission to revolutionize healthcare and support individuals in achieving their health goals in a personalized manner. As a key member of our dynamic Care Team, you will play an essential role in fostering effective patient care and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Details

  • Position Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7am - 10pm EST
  • Reporting To: RN Manager
  • Location: Remote, work-from-home position (Candidates must reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.)
  • Hourly Rate: $20/hr
  • Benefits: Employee benefits, monthly vacation accrual up to 10 days per year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide live video, phone, and messaging support to patients.
  • Assist your Care Team, including virtual physicians, APPs, and RNs.
  • Manage each patient's care needs from initial outreach through resolution.
  • Help with the order process, including sending requisition forms and coordinating referrals.
  • Follow up with providers after referrals, including collecting patient notes.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments with patients.
  • Contact providers and facilities to clarify information and resolve complex cases.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties (Laboratories, Imaging Facilities, Pharmacies, Vendors) to meet patients’ needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care, urgent care, or multi-specialty clinic.
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a virtual practice environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
