Overview

Inventory Specialist. Provides support for the inventory of property, including verification of IUID and application of 2D labels on property and verifying actual inventory against Property listings. Performs joint Government and contractor (outgoing and incoming) inventory of the support equipment including spares, Tools, and Test Equipment (TTE), documentation, software, hardware, and other Government Furnished Property (GFP), including conducting TADSS and GFP Functional Verification Inspection (FVI), as applicable,

Responsibilities

  • Ordering and receiving: Ensuring the timely ordering and receiving of products and supplies
  • Storing: Maintaining the storage of inventory
  • Distributing: Overseeing the distribution of products and supplies
  • Tracking: Tracking incoming and outgoing products, as well as inventory maintenance
  • Analyzing: Analyzing inventory data to identify low or excess stock, and to make strategic decisions about inventory management
  • Reporting: Providing inventory control reports as needed
  • Inspecting: Inspecting returned merchandise and stock levels for potential problems
  • Updating: Updating databases with incoming and outgoing products
  • Projecting: Making future inventory projections
  • Saving money: Finding ways to save money and improve efficiency
  • Developing protocols: Developing protocols to mitigate loss

Education

"Degree(s)/Years of Experience: (2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree).

Experience

  • Experience providing support for the inventory of property, including verification of IUID and application of 2D labels on property and verifying actual inventory against property listings.
  • Experience performing joint Government and contractor (outgoing and incoming) inventory of support equipment including spares, Tools and Test Equipment (TTE), documentation, software, hardware, and other Government Furnished Property (GFP), including conducting TADSS and GFP Functional Verification Inspections (FVI), as applicable.
  • Experience with MAXIMO, InSite or SAP systems is a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must have advanced data analysis skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Must have the ability to work in a warehouse setting.
