About The Role

We are seeking a Senior PMO Change Management Project Manager to support Change Management in our growing Global Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team. This role will focus on an expanding Data Center Construction portfolio and requires a high degree of influence, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive effective change management in a highly matrixed organization.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead organizational change, enabling the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy and initiatives. This includes process improvements and the implementation of supporting software tools needed to scale the portfolio, driving full stakeholder buy-in, adoption, and lasting behavioral change. This role focuses on the human side of change required to meet business needs, creating and implementing a change management strategy and plan aligned with change management principles and methodology, including managing stakeholders and developing communications.

Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

What You'll Do

  • Create and Implement Change Management Strategies: Develop and execute change management strategies and plans that drive collaborator engagement, improve employee adoption and usage, minimize resistance, and increase measurable achievement of results and outcomes.
  • Establish Transformation Success Measures: Monitor progress, track trends and risks, and effectively influence client sponsors with standard methodologies to drive, lead, and sustain successful change.
  • Apply Program Management Skills: Help the team run communications for programs, projects, schedules, training materials, and deliverables. Provide active support to other members of the PMO team with a variety of programs and process improvements. Support Program and Project Managers in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
  • Develop a Comprehensive Change Management Strategy: Tailor the strategy to the specific needs of our datacenter portfolio scaling efforts.
  • Assess the Impact of Changes: Identify key areas of focus and potential resistance.
  • Design and Implement Strategies: Handle and mitigate resistance to change.
  • Build Detailed Change Management Plans: Outline the steps needed to prepare, support, and help individuals and teams make successful transitions.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Provide guidance on change management standard processes to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Gain agreement and support for change initiatives from key team members.
  • Conduct Regular Collaborator Analysis: Understand their needs, concerns, and level of commitment.
  • Develop and Implement Communication Plans: Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging throughout.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to new processes and tools.
  • Supervise the Progress of Change Initiatives: Adjust strategies as needed to ensure successful adoption.
  • Develop Metrics: Measure the effectiveness of change management efforts and supervise progress over time.
  • Find Opportunities for Continuous Improvement: Refine and enhance strategies based on feedback from partners.
  • Identify and Manage Risks: Develop mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Address and Resolve Issues: Ensure minimal disruption to operations during the change process.
  • Prepare and Present Regular Reports: Update senior leadership and partners on the status of change initiatives.
  • Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Keep records of change management activities, including plans, progress reports, and lessons learned.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Develop and manage the PMO presentation messaging and content, intranet website, chatline, office hours, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure fresh and accurate content is posted on all relevant PMO platforms.

What You'll Need

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience within change management, with a focus on large-scale transformations in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid track record of successfully leading change initiatives in a datacenter or technology-intensive industry.
  • Change Management Expertise: Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Influence and Relationship Building: Ability to influence and build positive relationships with clients and collaborators at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and complete tactically.
  • Certification: Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is helpful.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with project management tools/software and Google Suite.

The minimum salary for this position is \(145,000 annually and the maximum salary is \)170,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on the applicable benefit program.
