About This Position
We are excited to welcome a UI Developer to our growing team! Our ideal candidate is curious, always seeking new ways to solve problems, and has the ability to implement complex technologies quickly and effectively. You are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team.
You will design, build, and support intuitive, easy-to-use cross-platform, browser-based interfaces. The UI Developer position is responsible for delivering and supporting user interfaces that provide secure, accessible, compliant, and easy-to-understand experiences. You will manage and maintain cross-platform browser consistency and support, using UI/UX best practices to ensure modern, consistent interfaces.
Starting at the end of 2024, you will support an existing application in Angular. In 2025, you will collaborate with teams to redesign the solution using your expertise in best-in-class UI design and platform. This is an exciting opportunity to build a frontend for manual and machine learning workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support browser-based user interfaces for products used by clients and internal teams
- Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
- Monitor trends in UI development and advocate for technology standards and best practices
- Collaborate with management, commercial, product, and development teams to understand and achieve company objectives
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in React, NextJS, Angular
- Solid opinions and experience regarding frontend frameworks and styling approaches
- UX process, wireframing, and prototyping skills
- UI interactions with REST API
- Long-term support and maintenance of frontend applications
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies (Azure preferred)
- Experience with source control tools (Git preferred)
- Working experience in Agile Scrum environments
- A passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest tools and technologies
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Bonus Points For
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Proficiency in many popular JavaScript frontend frameworks
- Experience with Azure Active Directory authentication
- Experience with Microsoft Blazer and C#
- Experience in support and user documentation
- Experience in dental, logistics, hospitality, or other vertical markets
