The Role

You will play a crucial role in shaping our beverage program, responsible for purchasing and maintaining stock for the beverage aisle, drink cooler, case stacks, and remote displays. Your keen eye for inventory management, pricing integrity, proper rotation, and merchandising will ensure our beverage department runs smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain stock integrity while meeting purchase budgets and margin requirements
• Manage department inventory and in-stock position
• Ensure pricing accuracy and proper product rotation
• Create engaging merchandise displays
• Control shrink and optimize product mix for better turnover
• Communicate new product information to team members
• Handle special customer orders efficiently
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety procedures
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• A customer service champion with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Someone with at least six months of experience in the grocery or beverage industry
• An individual with solid knowledge of frozen, dairy, and dry grocery products

Skills And Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and manage carts up to 100 lbs.
