Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll work closely with the SVP, Research & Data to build and progress a range of dialogues with life sciences partners as Q-Centrix launches new products into the market. These customers will span top 20 pharma as well as medical device companies.
Essential Functions:
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with clients and prospects in life sciences with a goal of closing three new logos in year one
- Manage entire sales cycle in partnership with senior leadership, including prospecting, capabilities presentations, deal qualification, and contracting
- Maintain documentation of the business development process and ongoing prospective client interaction through our CRM
- Conduct introductory meetings in partnership with lead generation team, and supplement with own prospecting and pipeline development
- Work with SVP, Research and Data to incorporate market feedback into Q-Centrix’s product development and positioning
- Attend industry conferences for the purposes of prospecting partnerships and expanding brand recognition
- Provide suggestions for new business development opportunities regarding our offerings, technology/software, services and/or marketing approach to appropriate management staff
- Strategically handle client objections or concerns
- Collaborate with the Marketing teams to accurately position all products and new services

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 8 years working in or selling to life sciences companies, with a focus on data and clinical development solutions
- Having sales experience
- Understanding of the full deal life cycle
- Pride yourself on your strong work ethic, attention to detail and follow-through
- Are eager to join a collaborative, tight-knit team
- Have a knack for words, complete with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess the ability to synthesize complex abstract ideas into concrete next steps
- Are a great listener with the ability to communicate with people of diverse disciplines
- Are self-motivated and results-oriented
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and can adapt to a rapidly changing market

The target base salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $180,000.00, with a variable incentive target of $30,000-$60,000 with actual earnings that can well exceed this range. An individual’s salary within this range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, experiences, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational considerations. Salary ranges are reviewed, at minimum, annually, and all team members are eligible for performance-based salary increases during our organization’s annual review period. All commissions are considered variable pay and are paid per the Q-Centrix commission plan, which is shared with team members annually. The actual commission payout may be higher or lower, depending on individual performance.
