The Principal Business Systems Analyst leads the design, implementation and support of enterprise planning and procurement applications while working closely with business stakeholders and functional and technical team members.   This individual will be directly involved developing solutions for priority capabilities for the business while maintaining continuity for our global design and integration with other functional areas.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•    Provide leadership in exploring and analyzing new application functionality in areas of planning and procurement.
•    Keep abreast of SAP application roadmap items and recommend capabilities for business processes.
•    Lead business analysis and the definition of thorough and accurate business requirements.
•    Configure SAP systems according to defined requirements.
•    Ensure system configuration documentation is completed according to specifications.
•    Define test plans to ensure new processes are thoroughly tested.
•    Develop functional specification documentation for system enhancement and development objects.
•    Work with developers to thoroughly test development objects.
•    Coordinate delivery of solutions in collaboration with internal and external teams and resources.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
•    Must have in-depth experience implementing and supporting SAP Production Planning / Manufacturing and Materials Management, Supply Chain Planning and Procurement.
•    Preferably also has technical/ABAP development experience to support custom development enhancements, data integrations with external systems (i.e., IBP), development via BAPIs, and flexible workflow.
•    Understanding of SAP Production Planning in Discrete ATO, MTO and MTS environments.
•    Understanding of SAP Capacity Planning and RCCP Capabilities.
•    Understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution preferably involving eCommerce to ERP integration.
•    Familiarity with SAP Classification and Variant Configurable Products.
•    Understanding of common methods for integrating SAP with MES and Shop Floor Control System capabilities.
•    Proven success in connecting with business stakeholders, understanding pain points and capabilities and building solutions within standard functionality.
•    In-depth understanding of modern system integration techniques between SAP and other cloud and on-prem applications.
•    Demonstrated ability to build partnerships within the IT organization and across business functions.
•    Effective presentation and communication skills.
•    Strong understanding of software architecture, design, and development methodologies (i.e. SDLC, AGILE, SAFe, etc.).
•    Knowledgeable in industry, business function, and system best practices.
Education and Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical background: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related IT field.
•    10+ years’ designing, implementing and supporting SAP applications.
•    10+ years’ designing and implementing SAP processes in a manufacturing environment.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.  
California: [$144,500-$174,400]
Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$132,250-$159,250]
Colorado and Washington: [$122,500-$147,500]
Nevada: [$132,250-$159,250]
