Who you are: 
A successful candidate will create and manage the production of CIEE Study Abroad creative content across all social channels, increasing overall engagement and follower activity across all platforms. They will coordinate with internal departments – from Marketing and Admissions Advisors to CIEE sites worldwide – to maintain open channels of communication and a clear content/brand strategy.


 

What you’ll do:

  • Create engaging content, manage, and implement the CIEE Study Abroad social media editorial calendar.
  • Maintain social media guideline best practices handbook based on brand standards.
  • Develop the tone of voice for content tailored to the mission and purpose of CIEE.
  • Stay aware of and respond to relevant trends in the marketplace.
  • Support analytics-driven social media campaigns and implement social data/metrics, insights, and best practices across key CIEE campuses.
  • Manage content deliverables from CIEE’s student ambassador program.
  • Respond to inquiries on social media platforms.
  • Measure and analyze related topics and hashtags to drive future marketing campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed established social media account growth goals.
  • Work closely with Content Manager and Campus Outreach Manager to ensure content and messaging is aligned with broader student and campus outreach goals.
  • Develop and meet key OKRs and metrics to evaluate success and impact against student enrollment goals.


 

What you’ll bring:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to represent CIEE Study Abroad online in content creation.
  • Experience with Instagram and TikTok is required.
  • Strong eye for social aesthetics and a keen sense of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer service.
  • Demonstrable writing experience that connects with student audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Later or other similar tools.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc) and/or Canva with good taste for aesthetics.
  • Able to manage to deadlines and meet urgency when needed.
  • Open to feedback and able to quickly pivot or change tactics.
  • Basic video creation, production, and/or editing are a plus.
  • Study Abroad or international travel experience is a plus.

Location Requirements:

The position is available to candidates in the United States, except for candidates residing in:

  • Washington (State)
  • Colorado
