About the Job
The Reputation Risk Management Risk Analyst position resides in the 2nd Line of Defense within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and will be responsible for executing risk management projects, conducting analytical research, supporting quantitative and qualitative analyses, risk monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities include supporting the team in executing cross-functional risk management activities for various assigned enterprise and/or operational risk programs. The ideal candidate will promote an organizational culture that encourages recognition of the company's Risk Guiding Principles and places a high priority on risk management. This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Head of Reputation Risk & Human Resources (HR) Risk. The position has responsibility for risk reporting, project management, review and credible challenge, data management and analytics. The candidate will possess analytical thinking, systems thinking, resilience, problem solving, and change agility skills.

This role can be 100% remote.

Essential Job Functions
· Manages risk assessments, aggregates metrics, and oversees certain front-line activities; identify risks, provide input over controls and testing, advise on and monitor remediation activities. · Applies critical thinking skills and conducts review and challenge activities and escalation, including independent testing as required.
· Coordinates or supports regulatory and audit exam requests; supports reporting for relevant Risk Governance Committees.
· Establishes routine dashboards; coordinates materials, reports, and gathers feedback from sources, as established by the Head of Reputation Risk & HR Risk.
· Proactively evaluates risk reporting (metrics, loss events, findings, remediation plans, etc.), internal and external research, including leveraging peer benchmarks to identify current and emerging risk issues and develop effective response strategies to address identified risks/gaps.
  • Provides information for analysis and reporting on risks, including changes to risk profiles, exposure and loss events, risk metrics performance, control testing results, remediation plans and status, peer benchmarks, external events and emerging risks.
  • Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Mitigate risk and discourage actions that may expose the company and its affiliates to risk outside its desired risk appetite.
  • Escalates promptly to appropriate senior management or appropriate risk committee any material breaches of applicable laws, rules, policies or standards with actual or potential risk impact, and necessary correction action.
  • Supports regulatory and audit exam activities involving reputation risk topics.
· Provides leadership and support on special projects, as assigned and all other duties as assigned by management.
