Your missions

Position Description:
  • Conducts thorough security assessments of the proposed MDM solution, ensuring compliance with Federal, DoD (STIG), and IRS/CI security mandates.
  • Identifies potential security vulnerabilities in the proposed solution and develops mitigation strategies to address these risks.
  • Ensures that the solution includes comprehensive anti-virus protections and meets the requirements of M-22-01 and the Treasury’s Derived Credentials Implementation Plan.
  • Develops and implements security controls to protect sensitive data, including data-at-rest encryption and unauthorized access prevention measures.
  • Coordinates with the solutions architect to ensure that the security requirements are integrated into the overall system design.
  • Prepares and submits required security documentation, including Security Change Requests (SCR), Risk Analysis, and other compliance-related documents.
  • Monitors the security of the system throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments and improvements as needed to maintain compliance and protect against emerging threats.
  • Provides guidance and training to the project team on security best practices, ensuring that all members are aware of and adhere to security protocols.
  • Collaborates with external security auditors and reviewers to ensure that the solution meets all regulatory requirements and passes security assessments.
  • Keeps up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, incorporating new methods and tools to enhance the security of the project.
