Overview:

Conexess is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Program Manager with a robust background in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and medical imaging software to lead high-impact, enterprise-level projects. This role is critical in overseeing complex programs related to medical imaging, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with optimal risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-risk, high-profile projects in large healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management:

    • Lead and manage multiple high-risk, high-impact programs related to PACS and medical imaging software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
    • Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.
    • Oversee the coordination and execution of project tasks, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  2. Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess potential risks and issues associated with program execution, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
    • Develop contingency plans and proactively address challenges to ensure program continuity and success.
    • Communicate risk status and mitigation plans to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related matters, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Facilitate regular meetings with project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to provide updates, address concerns, and align on program objectives.
    • Manage expectations and ensure that stakeholder requirements and feedback are effectively integrated into program plans.
  4. Team Leadership:

    • Lead cross-functional teams of project managers, IT professionals, and clinical staff to drive program success.
    • Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Ensure that team members have the necessary resources and training to execute their roles effectively.
  5. Program Strategy and Alignment:

    • Develop and refine program strategies to align with the organization's overall vision and goals.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in medical imaging and PACS to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define program objectives and success criteria, ensuring alignment with broader organizational initiatives.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:

    • Oversee program budgets, ensuring that expenditures are managed effectively and within approved limits.
    • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing program needs with organizational priorities and constraints.
    • Monitor financial performance and adjust budgets as necessary to address any changes in program scope or requirements.
  7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all program activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to monitor program performance and ensure that deliverables meet established standards.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess program outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program management within a large healthcare organization, with substantial experience in PACS and medical imaging software. Proven track record of managing high-risk, high-profile projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of PACS systems and medical imaging software, including their implementation, integration, and optimization.
    • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex, high-stakes environment.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
