Sports Content Writer (German-Speaking)

This position is available for hybrid or remote work (as contractor). Our location is in Malta, but you can work from anywhere in the world!

Your challenge: 
As a sports content writer your primary challenge is to create engaging sports betting content in collaboration with your content quality specialists that resonates with. 
 

Creating written content which portrays valuable sports betting information in a clear, easy-to-read and SEO optimised manner for one of our German-speaking portals. 

A taster of what you will be doing: 

• Conduct thorough research on assigned sports betting topics and keywords, analyzing the strategies and successes of top-ranked search results. 

• Craft unique and engaging content tailored to the interests and needs of sports betting enthusiasts, while maintaining our high-quality standards. 

• Design content in a way that enhances readability and helps capture the reader´s attention. 

• Collaborate on projects. 

• Thrive in a supportive work environment that encourages team members to excel.
  
  

Who are you and what you need to succeed: 

• A minimum of 1-2 years of content writing experience (thereof 1 year in iGaming). 

• A native German speaker/writer with good English (at least B2) to communicate with our international team. 

• Strong interest and previous experience in iGaming and sports betting. 

• Proven experience in creating long-format content. 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team. 

• An understanding of writing for SEO. 

• A sharp eye for detail. 

• Ability to perform research on product-related topics.
  

• Experience working with WordPress is considered an asset. 

• Confidence in trying out / using various research and writing tools to enhance productivity and content quality. 

• Enough curiosity to help you find valuable facts which no one has written about, yet.
