Flexibility: We understand the importance of work-life balance. This full-time position offers  a flexible schedule, with no on-call responsibilities! Choose either all-virtual or hybrid model (in select locations), working a schedule between 30 and 40 hours per week, with built-in time for documentation and meetings.

 As Part of the Foresight Outpatient Prescribing Team, You Will:

  • Provide initial evaluations and ongoing medication management and brief supportive therapy for clients (aged 18+), which includes:
  • 60-minute intakes
  • 15-30-minute follow-ups (depending on patient acuity and need for brief supportive therapy determined and set by your assessment)
  • 45-minute transfer appointments
  • Collaborating with other clinicians and professionals in an interdisciplinary approach to provide holistic care
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, with no on-call responsibilities

What Foresight Offers:

  • A SIGN-ON BONUS/Pay Advance of $10,000 total (based on 35+ hours per/wk)
    • *Payment of $2,500 after completing 90 days of employment
    • *Payment of $2,500 after completing 180 days of employment
    • *Payment of $5,000 after completing 12 months of employment 
  • Competitive Compensation Package: We believe in recognizing and valuing your expertise. Enjoy the stability of a consistent salary that is not dependent on patient attendance or caseload ramp.
    • You'll receive an annual salary between $170,000 and $175,000 based on experience and a 40-hour weekly schedule
    • A smaller full-time caseload with a minimum of 30 hours per week is also an option, with a salary starting at $131,250
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: We offer our full-time nurse practitioners medical, dental, vision coverages, and FSA; company-paid life insurance; 4 weeks of PTO (increased in 2024); and a 401K plan with a company match.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for NPs who are passionate about their patients' well-being, enjoy working in a collaborative environment both internally and with patients, and want to simultaneously learn and share knowledge with others. Though we do not require our providers to see Medicare patients, you must have not opted out from Medicare. We require:

  • A Master's degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited university or graduate program
  • An active, California Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license 
  • An active DEA license for Schedules 2-5
  • California residency
  • 2+ years of independent experience in psychiatry, with 1 year in an outpatient setting
  • Access to reliable and stable internet while working remotely; experience with Google Suite is a plus!
