Java Full Stack Developer

Summary  

This position is for an Entry-Level Java Full Stack Developer who will work fully remotely with a team operating in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. You will work with Java to build robust back-end systems and Angular to create dynamic front-end interfaces. Your responsibilities will include coding, testing, and debugging while collaborating with a talented team in an Agile environment. 

Job Duties  

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Java and front-end technologies. 

• Build and enhance responsive user interfaces with Angular. 

• Develop server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and database interactions using Java and Spring Boot. 

• Work closely with the development team and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. 

• Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. 

• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 

• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and knowledge. 

• Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing project requirements, new technologies, and evolving business needs.

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

Required 

• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming. 

• Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks. 

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. 

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• A strong interest in technology and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.. 

Preferred 

• Understanding of Web Applications. 

• Knowledge of relational databases. 

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs. 

• Competence with version control systems such as Git 

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations 

No certifications are required for this role.
