Job Overview

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth progress of our projects by maintaining clear communication and accurate record-keeping. This position requires strong organizational skills to manage both day-to-day tasks and larger, multi-month projects. Your ability to keep everything on track and ensure projects are delivered on time will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leaders on scheduling, invoicing, and partnership agreements.

Develop and maintain processes to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from scheduling meetings to capturing next steps and ensuring timely delivery.

Stay updated on the status of existing projects and new projects entering our workflow. This may involve coordinating with external agencies, partners, and various departments within our organization.

Understand the roles within a construction team and effectively assign tasks to ensure project demands are met.

Grasp the full scope of complex projects, taking thorough notes during meetings, and ensuring all actions are moved forward to the appropriate team members for completion.

Work collaboratively with all levels of the team on plans, campaigns, partnerships, and projects, managing stress and deadlines with patience and professionalism.

Manage the scheduling of team discussions/meetings both within the organization and with external partners.

Provide expertise in construction project coordination, with a deep understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.

Plan and oversee projects with a focus on the "big picture," maintaining excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Communicate effectively and negotiate successfully, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications And Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Construction Project Coordinator or in a similar role, with an understanding of building codes, regulations, and quality and safety standards.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.

Experience with project management software, such as Smartsheet, Google Docs, and Sheets, with additional knowledge of Fieldwide being a plus.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently or as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Experience working directly with upper management or in project management, including internship experience.
