Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential speech-language services and evaluations to students in K-12 educational settings, both individually and in groups. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and screen students with speech and language needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Provide direct support to students, addressing speech and language challenges in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of sessions and communication with stakeholders.
  • Partner with fellow speech-language pathology assistants to ensure effective communication with parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge as an SLPA.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) License.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of in-person and remote settings.
  • Travel to various locations as needed.
  • Availability during school hours.
  • Minimum of 15 hours per week.

Required Documents

  • Resume.
  • SLPA Credential (required).
  • Two references from the past two years.
  • Current TB test within the last 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proof of car insurance.
