Position Summary: The Channel Development Manager ("CDM") will lead the growth of our sales channels in Canada while working closely with key managers and colleagues throughout the region. The CDM brings product, industry and account knowledge to the Distributors and works with the Regional Sales Managers to grow overall Lenze business.


Position Title: Channel Development Manager

Location: Great Toronto Area, Canada


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the development and growth of the distributors.
  • Manage marketing activities and lead processing.
  • Identify and qualify new channels partners and Distributors.
  • Periodic and yearly business reviews and goal setting for sales, stock, and other KPIs.
  • Training and training planning using appropriate resources.
  • Joint sales calls and target account development.
  • Key liaison between Lenze functions such as regional sales, industry sales, marketing, order management, and the channels.
Requirements

  Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of commercial, industrial automation experience with outside sales experience.
  • Distribution support includes demonstrating an understanding of how distributors work and their processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required (50%+)
  • Growth-oriented and self-motivated to do what it takes to get the job done right.
