Senior BI Developer

What makes you a strong candidate:

• You are expert in QlikView, Business Objects, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.
• You are proficient in SQL.
  
• English - Conversacional.
  

Responsibilities and more:

• Create visualizations to meet business needs for analysis, reporting or our dashboard.
  
• Strong ability to understand business requirements and use them to create dashboards/reports.
  
• Work with data architects and developers to understand data flow/model to utilize that in development.
  
• Can work with business users to ask questions to clarify or approve report/dashboard details.
  
• Develops and implements business reports for visualizing or analyzing data and metadata.
  
• Works with Data Stewards to refine or develop business-oriented metadata definitions.
  
• Works with Data Stewards and data warehouse architect to identify data quality issues.
  
• Develop test plans for new analytic applications and business performance dashboards and measurements.
  
• Assist to develop and implement training program for users of the BI reporting tools.
  
• Participate and/or lead in design sessions, demos and prototype sessions, testing and training workshops with business users and other IT associates.
  
• Develop internal/team documentation and maintain as needed.
  
• Provides business support for deployed reports.
  
• Supports business projects by providing SME knowledge to project teams in the areas of universe content and availability.
  
  

Requirements

• +7 years of experience in the following:
  
• Experience with report development using the Business Objects.
  
• Experience using BO formulas and variables to create custom measures and calculations.
  
• Experience using Business Objects Universe Designer to enhance universes.
  
• Experience on Sun Solaris Unix platform and Windows.
  
• SQL skills.
  
• Skilled in at least 2 of the following visualization/dashboard tools: Tableau, Board, QlikView and/or Power BI.
