Your missions

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Director to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transaction processing and controls within our business systems. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving requisitions for various commodities, ensuring top-notch quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of information control, including system development standards, security, backup, disaster recovery, and maintenance.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support findings and propose actionable next steps.
  • Create and present clear, concise reports and technical information for management.
  • Offer expert advice to administrators, faculty, and staff on operational issues related to computerized information systems and general business operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology, equipment, and systems relevant to your role.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, procurement, or auditing.
  • Proficiency in creating and analyzing reports to identify non-compliance, irregularities, and process issues, with a focus on proposing improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, with the capability to learn and utilize new technologies.

Preferred

  • Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating all project phases.
  • Familiarity with procurement and payables policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and university or public auditing policies.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing computer systems.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This position allows for remote work at least one day per week, but not full-time.

Compensation

Up to $78,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
