Senior Medical Advisor Oncology 

 

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Medical Advisor to join our Oncology Medical Division in the UK. 

For this opportunity we are seeking Medics or Pharmacists with experience and a strong understanding of the medical affairs environment and applicants with ABPI final signatory status.

Previous experience of Oncology Therapeutic Area is preferred but not essential.

 

 

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the medical strategy
  • Responsible and accountable for driving a strategic partnership with local cross-functional teams.
  • Data collection, analysis and interpretation
  • Accountable for aligning evidence generation with medical and brand strategy; including ensuring proper alignment for defining the scope of potential Observational Studies (OS) and Investigator Initiated Research (IIR)
  • Responsible and accountable for reviewing and interpreting data and relevant field insights to optimize and manage content and adapt the evidence generation plan(e.g. in National Advisory boards).
  • Responsible and accountable for scientifically reviewing all therapeutic area/product related materials, external communications and advising cross-functionally using medical/scientific expertise.
  • Develop strong and trustful relationship with relevant Thought Leaders

 

 

Who you are?

  • GMC registered Physician or GMC registered Physician with ABPI final signatory status are essential
  • Industry scientific/ medical background
  • Proven experience in Medical Affairs
  • Oncology background is desirable
  • Strong skills in managing stakeholders and experience in building networks within Medical Affairs.
  • Excellent Business Acumen displaying ability to operate cross-functionally, driving organizational growth, understanding of marketing/sales functions in pharma industry.
  • Desirable experience contributing to an organization’s strategic endeavours, displaying industry/market knowledge.

 

This position is based out of our Reading office located in Green Park.  We operate hybrid working.  Commuting to the office will be expected regularly but not daily.
