Job description

The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff. We're cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way, deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation. It's a fast-paced market with many challenges. We need new talent on board to help us fill the gaps - bringing new ways of thinking into the team and, therefore, new possibilities.

Dive into the heart of Veriff and contribute to all aspects of the products essential for running high-quality and scalable identity verification processes: data annotations, machine learning, and day-to-day identity verification operations. The Verification Platform team ensures the smooth functioning of our core platform across various product offerings and aims to expedite the data cycle for improving ML models. Everything we develop is integral to Veriff, interconnected with every other aspect of the company. The team has ambitious plans ahead and is looking for someone experienced to join and contribute leadership.

Join the Verification Platform team and work on a product platform that customers and internal engineering teams rely upon.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

  • Writing high-quality, maintainable, tested, and efficient code with TypeScript, Python, and GraphQL
  • Doing (and receiving) code reviews and providing feedback to your peers
  • Identifying and advocating the use of new technologies, libraries, tools, and best practices in the team and across Veriff
  • Collaborating with other engineers both inside and outside the team to find solutions to complex problems
  • Mentoring, guiding, and aligning the team to ensure they have and maintain competency
  • Leading architectural planning and alignment within the team

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

  • Long-term experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Python, GraphQL, RabbitMQ and any front-end framework.
  • Prior experience with microservices architecture, database design, SQL, and CI/CD
  • Experience with React.js and TypeScript in both front-end and backend (Node.js) is a great plus.
  • Good command of English and great communication skills
  • High level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

  • Experience building high scale, high availability services
