The Team
You will become the owner of our Localization pipeline (including VO production), assess Unreal Engine's 5 existing tools, and propose either enhancements or a strategy to build custom tools with our Tools Engineering team, ensuring they support large-scale games and are user-friendly for both in-house devs and modders. As a producer you will oversee planning, scheduling and tracking efforts to support the team in order to deliver fun, engaging experiences. As a manager you lead by example, ensure we maintain and develop our great work culture and deal with any problems or conflicts which will arise. You have a keen eye for process improvements, value good documentation practises and your weapons of choice are JIRA, Confluence and Excel!

 


Desirable skills and knowledge

 

  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience within Localization and VO production
  • Producer or associate producer role on minimum 1 published PC or Console AA Game
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard localization tools, preferably Unreal Engine
  • Capable of evaluating vendors and working with budgets
  • Experience with leading multi-disiplinary teams
  • In-depth knowledge of AA game production and operations
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions and willingness to embrace new processes and technologies
  • Experience with lean development methodologies like Agile, Scrum and Kanban
  • Development background
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Very good active listening skills
  • Very good communicator
  • Proactive mentality
  • Ability to work autonomously and with little supervision
  • Ability to adapt to whatever production (inevitability) throws at you during development
  • Relevant bachelor or equivalent experience


Role responsibilities

 

  • Create milestone plans and set goals with the teams you manage and prepare strategies and budget proposals on how to reach the different releases that we have.
  • Investigate AI solutions in order to enhance and speed up the overall development of the teams and the deliveries you own on the project.
  • Evaluate external vendors for producing / translating text and VO in our game into roughly 14 languages.
  • Besides your regular teams which will be assigned to you, you are expected to also take over some Feature development teams within reason.
  • Lead your team and help your team members to evolve
  • Conduct performance reviews and 1on1 feedback sessions
  • Responsible for production processes and standards
  • Work with other producers on the project to ensure project focus and velocity is maintained
  • Contribute to the project risk register and help manage risk by suggesting contingency plans
  • Mentor leads and developers to give feedback
  • Prepare and present status reports to management
  • Create and hold presentations for the team or external collaborators as needed"
