The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator, Assurance Learning, supports assurance training initiatives by ensuring the effective administration and coordination of programs that foster the professional growth of the firm's Assurance professionals. Based in the Aprio PH office, this role focuses on administrative tasks and schedule coordination to ensure the smooth execution of all assurance L&D activities. The L&D Coordinator provides administrative support to the Assurance learning pod, including managing training calendars, scheduling sessions, and organizing learning events.

The L&D Coordinator is highly organized, possesses strong administrative skills, and manages multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to challenges are essential for success in this dynamic environment. To excel in this role, the coordinator also maintains a strong foundation in scheduling and training coordination.

The L&D Coordinator, Assurance Learning, reports directly to the Director of Assurance Learning.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of training programs related to M&A activities.
  • Prepare program evaluation reports using feedback and performance data to inform learning strengths and opportunities.
  • Forge partnerships with trainers by clarifying expectations, reviewing content with them, and guiding their instructional approach.
  • Coordinate external development program and conference enrollment for select team members.
  • Complete necessary learning administration tasks, including creating course rosters, updating attendance in LCvista, and preparing training reports for SMEs and L&D leads.
  • Administratively support L&D courses, which may include training calendars, enrollments, confirmations, cancellations, travel arrangements and catering requests.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions to ensure maximum participation and minimal operational disruption, documenting all programs in the L&D calendar for training across modalities (group live, group internet-based, hybrid, nano learning, and self-study), preparing room reservations, and communicating expectations to team members.
  • Coordinate with trainers to confirm availability, test technology, and equip them with training resources.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills when working with stakeholders, training audiences of various sizes, committees, leaders, and vendors. 
  • Develop detailed agendas and schedules for live programs and events, including session topics, speakers, and activities.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, or another related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience applying time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • 1-3 years' experience with learning coordination, event coordination, and/or administrative activities.
