Product Manager, Electric Vehicle Drivers

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our team, focusing on services for EV Drivers. In this role, you’ll manage software services tailored to drivers with regular commuting habits, occasionally requiring flexibility.

Key qualifications include strong product management experience, especially in user-driven software services, and experience growing consumer products using behavioral data. We'll provide training on industry specifics.

You’ll lead a cross-functional product team, with success measured by the value delivered to EV Drivers, ensuring business viability. Reporting to the Product Director, Commerce Platform, you'll collaborate closely with EV Driver teams, as well as payment and charging transaction teams. The preferred location for this role is Helsinki.

What you’ll do

The Registered EV Drivers cross-functional product team at Virta develops and maintains the EV Driver user experience (UX), which includes the Virta application, web interfaces, support content, and certain payment-related interfaces that enable EV Drivers to charge regularly. The team focuses on reliability, simplicity, discoverability, and meaningful engagement while building its services in a global context.

As the Product Manager, you will:

• Lead a cross-functional, empowered product team to deliver impactful services that delight our EV Drivers and drive business value.

• Collaborate with the designer and lead developer(s) to guide discovery and prioritization.

• Develop and communicate the product roadmap, based on a deep understanding of user needs and pain points, informed by product strategy.

• Define key metrics and success criteria to measure the effectiveness of services and product initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights to iterate and optimize product performance.

• Build and share knowledge, insights, and data about EV Drivers and their behavior in various contexts.

• Contribute to building product management excellence at Virta.

What you’ll bring

• Demonstrated excellence in managing the discovery, development, and delivery of software products, with a requirement of 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager.

• Experience in implementing and utilizing behavioral analytics for product decisions (experience in a consumer context is a plus).

• Experience working with engagement tools in international contexts.

• Proven track record of being accountable for the viability of software products (experience in consumer and/or platform contexts is a plus).
