Job Description:


We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Team Lead - Marketing Photo Editing to spearhead our photo editing processes in the marketing. As the Team Lead, the candidate will not only be responsible for enhancing and retouching images to align with our brand aesthetic and standards but also for guiding and motivating a team of photo editing specialists. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality without compromising efficiency.


KEY SKILLS


Technical Proficiency in  photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Knowledge of photo retouching, color correction, and image editing techniques is preferred.
Creative Vision with strong artistic and creative abilities to select and enhance photos in alignment with the brand.
Attention to Detail - Ability to spot and correct even the smallest imperfections in photos.
Adaptability and Flexibility - Ability to adapt to the changing project requirements and feedback. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with new editing techniques and software advancements - Research and grow everyday (use of AI features, etc) is preferred.
Leadership skills : Manage people/projects and drive them towards the successful execution.
Fundamental Communication Skills - to effectively communicate and set the team for success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Maintain Quality Standards: Establish and enforce high-quality standards for edited images, ensuring consistency in style, color, and composition across all marketing materials. 


Oversee Photo Editing Operations: Lead and manage a team of photo editors responsible for retouching, enhancing, and editing marketing images according to brand guidelines and quality standards.


Workflow Management: Develop efficient workflows and processes for photo editing tasks to ensure timely delivery of edited images for various marketing campaigns and projects.


Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and constructive feedback to team members to enhance their editing skills, productivity, and understanding of brand aesthetics.


Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on edited images to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies before final delivery, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards.


Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-training among team members.


Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep an eye on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in photo editing software and practices, and implement relevant innovations to improve efficiency and quality.

EXPERIENCE & EXECUTION ESSENTIALS


The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of proven work experience as a Sr. Photo Editor or above
Should have at least 2 years of experience in leading a team.
BSc degree in photography, visual arts, digital media or related field will be an advantage
Solid experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
Exposure working with a digital marketing agency, advertising agency, or related business services is highly preferred, fashion industry
Fundamental communication and writing skills, American English is preferred
Creative and artistic mindset with eye for detail
Ability to work independently and work in a collaborative environment
Attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and drives for business results with urgency
