Senior Fullstack Developer (Remote in LATAM)

We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Developer to join our remote team in Latin America (LATAM). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a profound ability to deliver seamless web applications, integrating both frontend and backend technologies.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React components and features for Vetted’s website, adhering to the latest best practices.
• Develop and optimize React Native components tailored for mobile-specific functionalities.
• Create features for Vetted’s browser extension, focusing on store detection and product recommendations while ensuring privacy and performance.
• Develop and maintain API endpoints using Typescript, closely integrated with the frontend.
• Work with the design team to implement their vision and provide technical guidance for visual components and interactions.
• Define API data requirements with the backend team, solving data dependency issues.
• Write and maintain type-safe, well-tested Typescript code.
• Develop and optimize data-fetching features for Vetted’s internal client SDK.
• Ensure fast and engaging UI by optimizing content delivery and client-side data execution.
• Review colleagues’ code to maintain high quality and consistency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Focus on writing well-maintained, type-safe code with robust CI checks.
• Proficiency with Git, particularly in a remote, collaborative team setting via GitHub.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend development practices and tools.
• Ability to dive into external libraries’ source code to troubleshoot and assess quality.
• High level of self-organization and communication skills for a fully remote environment.
• Several years of experience in writing production-deployed code and deploying using best practices.
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
• Knowledge of the full technical pipeline from server to client.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills for Node.js and client-side code.
• Experience with HTTP APIs, client SDKs, and backend collaboration.
• Familiarity with React Native and mobile performance optimization.
• Experience in developing browser extensions, focusing on privacy and performance.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures or GraphQL.
