HW Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to join one of our senior R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in board design, digital design, hardware engineering, and FPGA development. This role involves designing, developing, and testing hardware and FPGA solutions for various applications.

Your role:

  • Support Flex and Board design activities
  • Develop hardware prototypes and perform testing and debugging.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define system architecture and requirements.
  • Design and develop FPGA-based systems using VHDL and optimize performance.
  • Implement and verify digital designs on FPGA platforms. Perform simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis of FPGA designs.
  • Maintain and update existing FPGA designs and hardware systems.
  • Document design specifications, test plans, and test results.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You're the right fit if you have :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in board design and electrical design.
  • Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus).
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Questa).
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., logic analyzers).
  • Experience and a good understanding of PCB design and layout principles.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency In English

Advantages:

  • Experience in working in the medical industry (Big advantage)
  • Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis.
  • Experience with FPGA-based system-on-chip (SoC) design.
  • Experience with hardware/software co-design and integration.
