About the Role
Our 10-week Gap Inc. Summer Internship Program offers meaningful work experiences across various business areas, allowing you to deepen your functional knowledge and immerse yourself in the fast-paced retail industry. You’ll work on projects that directly impact our bottom line and present your work to senior management, while also participating in company events like executive speaker series and off-site activities. Upon completion of the internship, successful interns will be well-positioned for full time roles after they graduate.

In this Industrial Engineering Internship, you will be responsible for meeting the people, cost, and service metrics while utilizing the latest in technology and innovation within the Gap Inc. Distribution Center Network. You will be Customer Curious as you support and improve the customer service through key metrics related to merchandise, order throughput, accuracy and customer satisfaction while ensuring people development is a top focus.

Salary Range: $32.00 - $34.00 Per Hour

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress  

  • Must be in your Junior academic year graduating in December 2025 and Spring 2026   

  • Ability to work Monday – Friday from mid-June to mid-August 

  • Strong problem-solving, decision quality and implementation 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to build and sustain culture through the collaboration with team and/or business partners 

  • Knowledge and understanding of work specific to distribution centers
