About the Role
Our 10-week Gap Inc. Summer Internship Program offers meaningful work experiences across various business areas, allowing you to deepen your functional knowledge and immerse yourself in the fast-paced retail industry. You’ll work on projects that directly impact our bottom line and present your work to senior management, while also participating in company events like executive speaker series and off-site activities. Upon completion of the internship, successful interns will be well-positioned for full time roles after they graduate.

The Asset Protection Operations Intern will embody Do The Right Thing by protecting People, Assets, and Brands. You will work in an energized, fast paced environment focused on creating a safe environment for our employees and teams; this is critical to driving our Brand Power, Enduring Customer Relationships, and exuding our commitment to Team and Values. You’ll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Salary Range: $32.00 - $34.00 Per Hour
What You'll Do
  • Assist the AP Operations team with the responsibility of creating/maintaining reporting in a variety of digital platforms and/or ensuring vendor billing accuracy.   

  • Support data management, improving process and supporting the overall AP Operations team goals/initiatives. 

  • Participate in projects that drive consistency, optimization, and fiscal responsibility to provide clear action points for HQ, CEC, and Field teams.  

  • Attend internal team meetings and working session, virtually and/or locally. 

  • Collaborate to limit redundancies and data inconsistencies within data sets or reporting within the greater organization. 

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress 

  • Must be in your Junior academic year graduating in December 2025 and Spring 2026   

  • Ability to work Monday – Friday from mid-June to mid-August 

  • Advanced Excel and experience using PowerBI 

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint) web-based communication platforms and the ability to learn technical applications, terminology, and processes quickly   

  • Strong time management and self-starter attitude with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment   

  • Strong intellectual curiosity & seeks out new ways of learning in complex situations 

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
