Part-Time Online History Instructor

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual credit students in freshman- and sophomore-level university History courses. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in an online, synchronous learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach online, synchronous History courses on various days and times to accommodate student schedules.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that encourage student participation and practical application of the material.
• Follow a detailed course syllabus for each class, adhering to established institutional guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate student performance regularly, providing timely feedback to support their progress.
• Foster and maintain positive professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

• Demonstrated expertise in History at the university level.

Additional Information

• In compliance with state law, there is a 60-day waiting period before new employees are eligible for health insurance enrollment.
