Remote Mortgage Condo Underwriter

Job Summary:

Responsible for reviews and approval decisions for condo projects and individual unit loans for Fannie Mae,
Freddie Mac, FHA and jumbo programs

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and decisions condo projects and individual unit loans to agency guidelines
• Reviews all budget, reserves, insurance coverage, deductibles, declarations, by-laws and legal documents
for the project and unit.
• Reviews guidelines and works with Fannie Mae’s Condo Project Approval (CPM)
• Process Project Eligibility Waivers when needed
• May perform litigation reviews
• May perform FHA SUA reviews
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• 2-3 years FNMA/FHLMC Condo Underwriting within mortgage industry, required.
• Thorough understanding of FNMA and FHLMC project review guidelines, technology, eligibility, and process
• Knowledge of HUD condo requirements desired
