Part-Time Information Architect (Remote)

Compensation Range: $55 - 60 per hour

Our pharmaceutical client is looking for an Information Architect to join their growing digital team. This role requires someone who has prior experience working as an Information Architect in building out websites through wireframes and sitemaps.

This role is fully remote, 10-20 hours per week, and requires someone to work EST daytime hours.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with interactive team to establish the structure that will inform all subsequent aspects of application design and development.
• Assist the account and project management teams in defining business requirements.
• Structure organizational and navigational paradigms, page layout, and content schema.
• Create storyboards and wireframes as well as hierarchy recommendations.
• Develop test plans designed to prove out project scenarios.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, ensuring the execution of project initiatives, and quality of deliverables.
• Observe and report any trends in internet strategies for architecture and best practices to key team members.
• Liaison with dev and design to help bring wireframes to reality.
• Determine the MVP of what the client is looking for.
• Compile information into solution briefs.
• Handle information gathering during discovery workshops.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors
• Demonstrable understanding of the principles of information/interactive design, responsive architecture, and command of the tools necessary to illustrate the architecture at the various stages of design.
• Understanding of flowcharting and storyboarding software (OmniGraffle, Visio, Photoshop), and familiarity with appropriate programming tools necessary to do preliminary prototyping (HTML, Dreamweaver, Fireworks).
• Knowledge of content development, graphic design, advanced programming or project management.
• Ability to define goals and lead the execution of designs.
• Proven ability to meet commitments in required timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills.
